About

I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) at Youngstown State University. I earned my MS and PhD in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2025 under the advisement of Dr. Ali Sarvghad. Before that, I completed my BS in Computer Science and Mathematics at Youngstown State University in 2018.

My research primarily lies at the intersection of data visualization and aging, with a focus on empirical studies investigating the perceptual impacts of various visualization design choices. I am also interested in topics in broader Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), including accessibility and social computing. Additionally, I have experience in data science, machine learning, deep learning, and computer graphics.

In my free time I enjoy playing board/video games, watching anime, playing the euphonium/tuba, and playing disc golf.
